C70 cassette — Reading Pacifics finds composer Sean McCann reading his first book Pacifics (2016); a longform abstract poem.

The first side of the tape was recorded in his bathtub, with two readings jumbled across the left and right channels. Dropping the book in the tub after reading a page, then fishing it out to read a new page at random. A bit of chamber music recorded for the book can be heard hiding in the background, played from a TV across the room.

The second side is a straight reading of select pages.
