Following on from 2025's 'Turning in the widening gyre', a release that unspooled over two longform tracks filled with serrated drones, distorted noise and harsh blown-out samples, 'Polycrisis Apparitions' pulls back slightly, offering something slightly closer to songs and perhaps offering a slightly easier listen as a result. Comprised of seven shorter works, the album is pieced together from a series of field-recordings, played sounds and manipulated found audio sources.
